For this episode, my guest is Julian Bernick. Julian is a multi-talented writer and game designer. He is the author of many RPG products, including adventures for Dungeon Crawl Classics, Mutant Crawl Classics, and DCC Dying Earth. An accomplished poet, Julian is poetry editor for Whistling Shade Magazine and published Castle Bash…, a 100-page narrative poem in the Romantic tradition.

Julian is also a co-host of the Ennie-award winning podcast Spellburn. We had a wide ranging conversation that touched on poetry and lyric writing, Blue Öyster Cult, Patti Smith, Paul Simon, Frank Zappa, Church of the Cosmic Skull, and much more.
