The controversial use of artificial intelligence in creating music and in generating roleplaying game art and content continues to make noise. This article called ChatGPT’s Storytelling Chops Are No Match for Dungeons and Dragons combines both trends by name-dropping Appendix LP bands Hawkwind and Blue Oyster Cult.
Michael Moorcock News
Speaking of Hawkwind, Steven Wilson’s remix of the band’s Warrior on the Edge of Time album was recently released on vinyl. The album is based on Michael Moorcock’s Eternal Champion and features lyrics and voice from Moorcock. Louder Than War provided this detailed review of the new release.
In other Moorcock news, a graphic novel collecting the first six issues of Moorcock’s Multiverse comic series is scheduled to be released on October. It features art by comic legend Walt Simonson and includes storylines featuring Moorcock characters such as Elric of Melnibone.
