Hell yeah Dio stuff - thanks for the shout-out, Matt! I also expanded the work of Catch the Rainbow into a whole-ass zine for OSE/5e based on the original Rainbow trilogy called Blackmore that is newly available in the Exalted Funeral store if anyone is interested. :)

I wasn't aware of the expanded Blackmore, Eric! Here's a link for folks to check it out: https://www.exaltedfuneral.com/products/blackmore-pdf?_pos=1&_sid=2b101f1ec&_ss=r

The Shudder Mountains definitely sounds secluded!

Ronnie James Dio's singing, whether in Elf, Black Sabbath, Rainbow or his own Dio band, is chock full of D&D & Appendix N style inspiration. My favorites are the classic Man on the Silver Mountain and Last In Line - which gives a non-linear, once-and-for-all final answer to the age-old question of alignment.

Apologies for too much commenting, but I hope very much that some future adventure my dwarf multi-class wizard/fighter goes on takes place in the Shudder Mountains!

Dio rightfully should be on the Mt. Rushmore of Appendix LP, if we are thinking to start such a pantheon. I mean, the guy started a band that would eventually be called 'Elf'! I have this vague memory from the 80's of a video of him sitting on a throne-like chair in a large castle room holding an ornate goblet which must have contained a mead or grog type of concoction, talking about heavy metal (of course). Tried to find it on the intertubes but so far no luck!
